Yeah, it's really as simple as that. 

The US is producing a huge amount of oil and gas now.  The world is using a huge amount of oil and gas, and the global petroleum companies are maximizing their profits as there's not a good alternative source of energy at competitive prices.

How would Obama go about lowering oil prices?  Nationalize the oil companies and run them from the government?  Then he WOULD be a socialist.  :idk:

Not really.  Their goal is to blame Obama for everything they see as "bad" in the country right now and give him no credit for anything they see as "good".

Facts and logic are simply inconvenient elements that need to be discarded when it comes to achieving this goal.  And since their main method of achieving this goal is through the use of simplistic one-liners and rhetoric, it's pretty easy for them to do this.

Often in drive-by threads such as this where they'll just fire off some nonsense and disappear.
