Conservative Playbook.

1. Use Bible to "hurt" all that aren't like you.

2. Use Bible to "forgive" your own extramarital affairs, lying and cheating, leading to a "new and better you".

3. Tell the voters that "Jesus has forgiven you".

4. Get re-elected by the most gullible group of people on the planet, (conservative voters)...then marry your mistress.

He should lose 150lb and run for POTUS. He wouldn't be too bad, but I'd prefer Hilary

Taft was our fattest president, weighing in at a reported 330 lbs while in office.

I think Christie probably has him beat.

Which one of those children is the president's?

Way to miss the simple facts, kav.

You simply cannot or will not admit that Obama is using the children in the photo as props for  advancing a controversial but emotional political agenda.

Anyone who criticizes the use of one set of children in a political setting but not another is hypocritical.

Is it your contention that any politician who has ever had a photo op with children should have his or her own children attacked?

Politician's children should be insulated from the vitriol that is often directed at their parents.

I'm sure you agree and have been an outspoken defender of such innocents. Like the Bush and Palin offspring.

In this particular case, I think BHO has gone far beyond a mere "photo op" in his use of the children in the photo. It is a cynically conceived use of innocent children to pursue a very controversial and inflammatory political goal. You are free to misinterpret this and think what you want.

Oh now the thread is about George Bush?

Bush w/ children photo?  The presence of the the lush from Massachussetts should have reminded you that No Child Left Behind was largely bi-partisan, and mostly non-controversial. Misguided and a gross expansion of fed.gov., yes. But in comparison with BHO using children to push an extremely divisive agenda?

But I'm sure kav and willie were outraged whenever Bill Maher made jokes about the Bush daughters.

Have to admit those three photos of GW with the black kids are funny. In the second one, it looks like the kid wishes he had a gun. In the third , it looks like the kid is about to scream with panic. And in the first photo, what was on the boy's tee shirt?

No, stupid, it's about politicians' children.

You want to be a bitch about them using other children in photo ops, go right ahead, just don't be a dimwitted hypocrite about it.

Re: Chris Christie: NRA ad "reprehensible"

The NRA is just a lobbying group for the gun industry. Why would anyone expect them to be above this?
