My VPS has worked flawlessly outside of one program that I had setup difficulties with. I had to reboot once.
But I hear you... ![]()

Not being a smart ass here.
OSX is a rewrite of Mach3 Unix. I frequently clean OSX machines for friends of various strains of malware.
There is also a new variety of malware that targets Linux.
BSD, IMHO, is the most secure OS out, but it is not invulnerable. Bind has a few problems.

Up until the late '90s most systems were custom designed and built, and needed electronics techs to keep them running. The government decided that was too expensive, and that PCs had advanced enough that they could switch to COTS (commercial off the shelf) hardware.
This typically meant at the time desktop workstations built by Sun Microsystems running Solaris (UNIX), along with UNIX servers running Solaris or IRIX. These had warranties, so electronics techs weren't needed any more. But system administrators were, so I became one. The government has since switched to Windows from UNIX, and I adapted to that too.
Ok. That gives me a far better understanding of the why's.
Incidently, last month I moved one of my servers from Linux to a Windows 2008 VPS. I pity you (joking). I needed a server to offload some of my heavier network activitity that is Windows based.

Windows does keep people employed. FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS. UNIX.
Hey, I'm an old UNIX guy. I would prefer UNIX. But Windows is what they use now.

You are absolutely right. I am smarter than that, I work for myself.

Excellent. You have job security using Windows.

Its also called Down Syndrome, you dumb fucking piece of shit.
A little hostile? Must have hit a sore spot. Is your Downs creating you problems today?
You're wrong on yet another thing in this thread. Perhaps you should tone down your display of a sense of superiority until you at least rise to par of the people you deride.
And it's "Down", not "Downs" you ignoramus.

They were not arguing that, but you knew that, and just felt like trying to prove a non-exist point.Sorry, that is just what they were arguing; even if they did not understand it at the time.
To be more explicit, whether they understood what they were arguing, they were arguing that an alledged better education made them more successful in life without first defining what success was. Here in in this article about and from China, just like the US, we see that the value of an education is not what it is made out to be. The educated in China are refusing a job that pays three times what the going rate for what that person is educated for.
Actually, the article says that the job pays 3 times the starting wage (initially). Starting wage is not a good indication of future wage. Also, a job with a higher starting wage but little advancement opportunities that provides no experience in your chosen field is not really a good choice. Just ask the former factory workers in the US who don't have a job.
Also, China is not the US. In the US, those with college degrees have a lower unemployment rate. Focusing only on "people in their early 20's" distorts the figures even further.

A Chinese graduate, for example business master, makes about 3000 Yuan per month when she starts working for a company.
A factory worker makes about 2000 Yuan per month.
