Re: Now that this forum has "died"...

Yeah, I keep coming here everyday to see what's happenning... and it seems almost NOTHING is happenning.

I'm here:

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/forumdisplay.php?f=30

http://www.guitarforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=8

http://www.guitarscanada.com/theory-technique/

http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?58-String-Theory&

I will still peek in here... and comment when inspired to do so.. Shame this is so quiet, I miss a lot of the cats who used to contribute here more often.

Re: Now that this forum has "died"...

I check in at the Lesson Loft every day, but haven't had a lot of time to post or reply.

I hang out in the HC Electric Guitar forums, the Joe Bonamassa and Petrucci forums, and the Suhr forums.  Mostly HC's Electric Guitar forums, although at times it feels like a lot of the same threads year-in and year-out (do Carvin pickups suck, my $300 Squire sounds better than your $3000 custom shop, etc).  Even with that, it's still fun and there are good folks there.

Multiple award winning blues/rock/country at http://www.zeyerband.com or http://www.myspace.com/zeyerband.

Re: Now that this forum has "died"...

I think a lot of the folks that may come in and ask the questions that get us talking can't find the forum due to the way they hid it.

Seems most of the regulars are still around, at least to poke in and peek. It's the newbs we miss.

And of course PolishPaul.

I'm Virgman over there.  I don't post much though.

Strat-Talk is somehow related to TDPRI and I am there too but don't post a lot.

This was my last post on TDPRI to which there were too many replies to count:

My last post on Strat-Talk:

Wish they would fix that.

Re: Now that this forum has "died"...

I really don't like the redesign, but I still visit most days (maybe I'll get used to it...)

My other regular haunts are:

http://www.ibreathemusic.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?1-Music-Theory  (also dying after a recent re-design, but never very busy in the past)

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/forumdisplay.php?f=30 (very lively forum; sticking with the old format thank goodness)

http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=27 (ditto)

http://www.jazzguitar.be/forum/theory/ (another ugly re-design I'm just starting to get used to)

http://forum.emusictheory.com/list.php?5 (refreshingly old-fashioned format and visited by real gurus - but not very lively)

http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/guitar-lessons/ (none more black... I don't play a Les Paul, so dunno why I hang out there. But the natives made me a VIP, which is sweet...)

I just stumbled back across this by accident.  I though it had been done away with.  Go figure.
