First of all..when I feed the cats the smell of kitty tuna isnt quite the same as human. If you can get past that stink ...god bless! Buy some people tuna you cheap skate!

early day maybe not barnstormer pilots used to stuff pockets with tins of cat food in case they crashed before they had cellphones and gps, might be awhile before they were found, better tuna nowaday's.
I'd avoid pet food because of the possible bone frags
and i'd cook it 1st in case of basteria

Some call it a staple, a necessity for living.

What you may not know is that cats are true carnivores..Dogs are not.
Like humans dogs can get by without meat. Cats on the other hand need the additives to the cat food or they will not survive. Maybe this is what your laws are protecting the cats about. Just Sayin'

If it smells good to you, eat it, Kunac.
...but you might start scratching the couch and spraying in the living room.

Fancy Feast Appetizers are my cat's favorite. It does look like human-grade food.

Before my cat died I used to get her a few slices of underdone roast beef on my way home on a Friday. I would get in, cut the meat up with a pair of scissors and touch the cat (who was sleeping) on the nose with with my beef smelling fingers. You have never seen a cat wake up so fast.
I've seen a lot of TV ads recently for that IAMS dried catfood. I couldn't imagine a cat enjoying that shit, cats like proper food like fish and prawns, even canned catfood doesn't quite cut it.
