Usually a quote has at least quotaion marks around it.

At least in the English speaking world, but apparently not here. The quote function sucks as it is right now as it is difficult to tell what is a quote and what is a reply.

I prefer Becel. Just for the record, I prefer margarine over butter.

I don't have a quote function at all today, although I thought I had it yesterday?!?  The new forum as it currently is, is NOT at all user friendly.

The "Quote" button doesn't appear until you click on "Reply" for the thread in which you want to quote.

Check again...if you hit the "Reply" button(not Quick reply) you should see it next to the Spell Check button on the right side above the thread box. I'm on Firefox and once I actually found the fucking thing it has stayed put.
