Humorless Instruction:

Take a center punch...lightly tap it on one side...in case it just doesnt pop out since it is loose.

Use a sharp small chisel to flick off any glue in the slot...no gouges go easy...might be ok with an exacto knife. Flick excess glue from nut surface as well.

If there was no issues other than being loose ....fit it into the slot with the edges flush to the sides off the neck.

If all looks well use a couple of drops of wood working glue to cement it in place...dont use super glue because this is a part you want to easily tap back out when its time to replace  it in the future.
