Well it might be associated with what is now know as the Wrangler, but it's more of a product line.
99% of Jeep owner will never see more than a black top road.

Those are nice! A few friends here at work have them; it's the real deal, unlike most stock Jeeps.
I just finished pulling a **bleep** of gravel out from under my shifter; truck shifts much better now. Don't know how gravel made it into there, but I do offroad a lot, and have forded a few rivers.
I like 4WD. ![]()

My Nissan Xterra Off Road Edition has seen like one rough dirty road in it's life time. Since the begging of the winter my wife who was driving the new Veloster has been taking the Xterra. The Veloster was getting 40 mpgs, but now that it's cold out it's not doing so well on the gas, but no bigger. Hyundia had a letter that went out and a law suit about the mpgs and there's a rebate on gas.
My wife has a 35 mile round trip commute and the weather hear can change by the hour, she was in a worse accident than yours if you can believe it, with over a year recovery time.
I filled the tank about Thanksgiving time and the gas light went on last week and I filled it again, putting in 35 bucks worth of gas.![]()
I was gonna get winter rims and tires for the Veloster and didn't like a lot of what was out there, or the offset was way off. I ended up doing nothing. So far when we have had snow my wife has been off. She works 3-12 hour days, but the job is killing her to say the least.
I told her when she took the job that those working days were not gonna be easy. Basically by the time she gets home she has to go to bed.

My Rubicon hasn't seen many real challenges...I have had it off-road a few times...there's not much for off-roading around where I live...been mudding a few times to rescue friends who were a little overconfindent in thier 4WD's....when I bought the Rubi I had visions of being able to get to the best fishing spots, but turns out the best fishing spots don't require 4WD to get to...around here anyway. Once a friend and I drove all the way to Durango, Co to go fly fishing...we stopped at a fly shop and asked them where the best place to go was...I told him I had a Rubicon so it didn't matter how tough it was to get there....he said "the best fishing is right behind the Wal-Mart :madsmilie:
