Turns out, it wasn't terrible here. It started early as sleet, which was encouraging, 'cause maybe it would end early, too. But then it ended as light rain, about two hours worth, falling into temps that just barely got above freezing. So there was about a quarter inch of ice on everything this morning. We never lost power, though, so that was good. Eventually the sun came out, and it got up to around 45 this afternoon. You can drive around now, but I've got no reason to go out, so I'm not even going to check the mailbox. Played dominoes with the wife, she won a round, I won a round. I uploaded a YT vid this morning, I've been working on jazz chord shapes and found an old tab of "'Round Midnight" that makes a good practice piece, since it's supposed to be 60bpm, which I can handle, I actually think I rushed it a little bit. Now, we're making a pot of pinto beans and a batch of cornbread for dinner, redneck comfort food, seems appropriate. Still got more than half of my bottle of Cuervo left. Wife's got less than half of her bottle of Stoli left, some sort of bartering may ensue tomorrow, y'all probably won't want to know the details of that outcome.
