Native Instruments USA, a distributor of multi-media audio electronics software and hardware, has announced that Native Instruments Software Synthesis of Berlin, Germany, is now shipping REAKTOR Series application software that features synthesis, sampling, and audio effects processing for both the Macintosh and PC platforms on one CD-rom.

GENERATOR - $298

Native Instruments introduced Generator realtime modular synthesis software in 1997, bringing with it the power to create realtime modular synthesizer designs with a PC for only $298. With the release of Generator 2.0 two years later, that same power has been refined and made available for both the PC and the Macintosh. GENERATOR 2.0 software also includes a large library of instruments, ensembles, and effects modules to emulate classic vintage synths, or to create entirely new designs. Generator remains the world's first modular synthesizer in pure software, and carries a suggested retail price of $298.

TRANSFORMATOR - $298

TRANSFORMATOR is based on the successful modular design of GENERATOR, including all the effects modules, but brings to sampling what GENERATOR has brought to synthesis: total freedom. TRANSFORMATOR 2.0 is the world's first modular sampler.. in pure software. And like Generator, its modular synthesizer counterpart, Transformator realtime modular sampling software also includes a large library of instruments, ensembles, and effects modules, and is now available for both PC & Macintosh platforms at a suggested retail price of $298.
