At 2005's Winter NAMM Show, Crate Audio unveiled their new SS Series speaker enclosures. The SS Series are intended for mobile sound systems, public address, DJs, coffee-house musicians, and live applications. The versatile speaker cabinets are made with a multi-angled cabinet design, allowing for either FOH or monitor use.
All the SS Series cabinets feature a special design woofer and a 1" titanium HF driver in a molded high-impact polymer cabinet for clean, distortion-free sound. In addition, a molded-in elliptical horn provides crystal-clear highs and broad dispersion. The SS is available in 10"(SS10), 12" (SS12), and 15" (SS15) woofer versions. All three models feature an internal electronic crossover and to insure maximum efficiency and clarity
