New 300-Watt Active Reference Monitors in Two Distinct Styles are Now Available Worldwide
October 20, 2011 - Bothell, WA The MUSIC Group is pleased to announce that the BEHRINGER "BEHRITONE" C50A and C5A 30-Watt active reference monitors are now available for purchase through the company's global authorized retailer network.
Highly anticipated since their debut at the 2011 NAMM Show, these full-range monitors are expertly designed to provide an accurate reference for testing a mix as it will be heard in real-world environments such as car stereos, iPod stations, televisions and other “bass-challenged” applications. Music has to leave the studio eventually!
The line offers two monitor styles to suit various studio decor tastes, with the C50A sporting a sleek, high-gloss black finish, while the C5A has a vintage, wood-grain look. Both models are constructed with precision-milled, high-rigidity MDF for extremely low-resonance performance.
Each 6.5" cube contains its own dedicated 30-Watt Class-D power amp and a specially designed 5-1/4" full-range speaker for crystal-clear audio reproduction. Both models accept balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS, as well as unbalanced RCA connections, and are magnetically shielded so they won’t disrupt your computer video monitors.
A neoprene pad is included for superior acoustic isolation when the speakers are placed on a desktop, or the enclosures can be mounted on mic stands via the built-in 5/8" adapters.
