Drums on Demand Releases Acoustic R&B Loops Collection

by HCNews on ‎05-30-2007 12:00 AM

Drums on Demand has released Acoustic R&B Loops.

Acoustic R&B offers 6 super-deep, easy-to-use Song Sets® that are reminiscent of 60s soul grooves but current enough for Top 40 pop and hip hop songs. The overall mix includes a heavily dampened snare that was then compressed and gated for a very dry "in your face" crunch. The toms were dampened for a "thuddy" sound as well. The dampened and gated kick offers a real lo-fi "thump." The resulting sound is versatile enough for contemporary hip hop, but warm and live enough for R&B.

Whether you need Acid® loops, Apple Loops or Rex® files, Acoustic R&B uses DOD's patent-pending organization system, with about 60 match loops per Song Set®: intro, verse, chorus, fills, endings, bridge, etc. Other features include: many multiple-bar loops, snare- and rim-based loops; tempos ranging from 64-125; mix-and-match sound across all Song Sets; recorded at 44.1; royalty-free license; Loop Layers; 16 multi-velocity L & R snare hits in each Song Set. There is also a separate set of 72 matching, multi-velocity single hits for building your own loops or for import into your WAV-compatible sampler.

Simply find the Master Loop that fits the drum beat of your song and use the matching drum loops and segments to quickly build a drum track that feels like a session drummer playing your song.
