D'Addario Expands EXP Acoustic Guitar String Line

by HCNews on ‎03-08-2003 12:00 AM

Guitarists have been asking D'Addario to make EXP13 and EXP36 sets since the introduction of the EXP10, EXP11, and EXP12 sets last January, and D'Addario listened.

The new EXP 80/20 strings are the EXP13 (Custom Light) and EXP36 (12-string Light) sets, and come in D'Addario's newly redesigned EXP packaging.

All D'Addario EXP coated strings are built to last three to four times longer than uncoated sets, thanks to an exclusive, ultra-fine, corrosion-resistant coating, yet sound the same as uncoated sets because the coating is applied to the wrap wire before the strings are wound.

EXP strings are presently available for acoustic guitar, mandolin, resophonic guitar, electric bass, and acoustic bass, and additional sets are under development.
