re-installing OS-9

My second hand G3 came with no system disks, i'd like to run OS 9.1 or newer. Trouble is i dont know where to start looking. anyone know where i could find one? I've seen them on ebay but the disks are labelled 'IMAC OS 9'. Does this mean it is used specifically with the imac and not the G3?
