Speaker stand recommendations

Looking for a pair of stands for my Alto TS112A speakers. They MIGHT support a 15" powered unit at some point, but I doubt any of these would not handle the extra mass.

Currently on my short list (price is each):

Dayton Audio TSS100K for $51

Ultimate Support TS80B for $69

On Stage SS7730 for $45

American Audio Sps1B for $40

Gemini DJ ST-04 for $37

Yamaha SS238B for $46

PYLE-PRO PSTND2 for $25

Pyle-Pro PSTK103 for $27

Have any of you used these?
Do you recommend something else?

Thanks!

Re: Speaker stand recommendations

Do yourself a favor and go for the Ultimate TS-90B.

Thanks,

I have Ultimate TS-90B and TS-99BL stands. I like the clutch feature on the stand, because it makes raising and lowering the speakers a much more controlled (and therefore safer) process. The TS-90 is the basic model; the TS-99 goes higher (and has a wider base to match). The "L" indicates that one of the tripod legs is adjustable for leveling purposes (outdoors, or spanning a step). I've used the TS-80; its sturdy enough, but the raise/hold/tighten (or insert pin) routine is not nearly as convenient as the clutch feature. Mark C.

Agree with Miko. Buy Ultimate TS-90B and TS-99BL stands. My 90B's are 10 years old and work perfectly. Clutch is so useful I will never own another stand without one, unles it is a crank stand. The 99 is great because of extra height (important outside) and especially the leveling leg for uneven ground.

I would never consider anything else.

Re: Speaker stand recommendations

For my live band setup I use older Ultimate stands that I've had for 15 years.  For my wife's karaoke rig we have a pair of these that originally were used for Eon 15p cabs, but now are used for the same Alto cabs you specified.  Stands have worked fine for ~8 years.
