I'm currently running them off two mackie M4000's but want to upgrade(are the mackies good enough? they put out 1300w per chan at 4 ohms). I'm looking at buying a QSC RMX 5050 to run all 4 at 2 ohm's per channel but the power consumption would probably be through the roof.
I'll take all the suggestions i can get!
Thanks,
-Paul

Geez dude, that's plenty unless you want pyro instead of subs LOL. Oh, and those 5050's aren't really rated for 2 ohm sub duty - the same basic amp derated as the 4050HD is and isn't any more power than you have now. If you need more low end you need more or better subs not more power.

You know... I didn't sign on here to get smart ass responses from poeple. I asked a valid question and you have nothing to offer but bullshit. Rather than talk shit about what i have currently, or where I want to go, explain your vast knowledge and help me with some recommendations.
I'm looking for an answer to if I have the properly powered right now and if I don't, what should I buy.

Sorry... No i'm not looking for pyro, nor do i know if the mackie amps are worth their weight which is why I asked. I want to keep my 4719's intact. Which is why I posted this thread. I'm looking for an honest response from someone who knows what they're talking about. RR's response sounded to me like "yah, jesus man, that's plenty of power unless you wanna blow your shit up". I was looking for someone to say "yah, those mackie amps are good, they'll power those cabs with no issues.... or mackie m4000's suck, you should go with a crown xti 4000" or something along the lines of that.
I guess i thought things would be a little more professional. Sorry.

Lots of good power amps out there. I'd choose something that gives you about 600-700RMS/driver.

"Like its smaller sibling (the RMX 1850HD), the RMX 4050HD is one of two RMX "Heavy Duty" models designed to work as hard into 2 ohm loads as most competing amplifiers will at 4 ohms."

So the 4050HD is better because it can sustain a 2 ohm load with no issues. They why is everyone selling the 5050 for more money than the 4050?

OK. I have a reputation here for being diplomatic. (yea thats right...) The Mackie amps work, and that is all I will say positive about them. They are far from great amps, but many people live with them. People also use Behringer amps. That doesn't make them great, just functional. If they are working for you, keep them. They have adequate power for your needs. If you want your 4719s to keep working, listen to what you were told by Roadranger.
All RMX amps are capable of 2 ohm loads per channel. However, non HD versions have been known to thermal when pushed hard. QSC therefore issued a coupld of HD amps. In each case they are derated version of a larger amp. The 1850 HD is a 2450 derated, and 4050 HD is a 5050 derated. While the 2450 and 5050 will both work at 2 ohms they can thermal if pushed hard enough. I have never seen a HD version thermal even when pushed. I know this because I had 1850s and 2450s at the same time. I tried using the 2450s for subs originally and a number of times I had them thermal. QSC advised me to go to the HD and told me of the derated design. After I bought the 1850s, I never had another thermal.
Is that tactful enough for you? I will never be this nice again, but you are new here so you get one. Roadranger knows exactly what the hell he is talking about. He has more posts offering others advice than you will have here for years and they are ALL usually quite correct. We may be willing to share info here with people that need answers, but that doesn't mean we are willing to take crap while doing it.
If you don't like the tone of the replies, don't ask questions. He gave you the correct answer in the first post of this thread. It could have stopped there.

The 5050 sells for more than the 4050 because people are ignorant, and if you don't need the 2 ohm load, the 5050 has a few more watts. At those levels, the extra power is meaningless. You won't hear a decibel or two difference, but most people are clueless. The 4050HD is heavier duty amp that will still be running when the 5050 is cooling off enough to come back on.

I never said he didn't know what he was talking about. I was looking for an answer exaclty how you replied right now. I find it hard to believe that's too much to ask for. Either way - Sorry for not taking it as lightly as it was dished out. I don't respond like that. If i have knowledge on a matter, i reply in a way that is direct and to the point with out the needles fill.
The only reason I have the mackies is because I got them brand new off a guy who was hurting for cash bigtime and got them for a steal. I was just looking for something to get my system running. I'm not tied to them. That's why I'm asking here... What's the best performing amp that wont break the bank account?
