Is ONE of these:
....as bright as this?:
Sorry if this sounds like a silly question.
I am guessing that if I were to take out one of the CHAUVET 4 Bar unit and put it side by side with the Latter....it will be the same brightness?...cos each each PAR CAN has 7 x 3w.
Am I right?

If you read the specifications, you'll see that the 4 Bar Tri offers an output of 1,869 per pod where as the Slimpar Tri7 outputs only 1,073. The 4 Bar has four pods making it substantially brighter as well as the ability to deploy more than one color at a time.

Will this better? I think I will only 2 units....one on the left and one on the right of the stage. Yes? I perform with my Guitarist on stage. I am hoping 2 units are sufficient as Front Wash lights?

Mutha, well...I do dance when I sing....but not too much...so I think it will be suffcient.
For your situation, I would recommend buying 2 fixtures and try them out. If you find that you are shaking your thang into the shadows regularly, buy a 3rd fixture.
