Holy crap! A street of $599?!
If this does well, I'm really thinking Korg will unveil an analog poly synth down the road.

McHale! U must order one NAO, take the end caps off and measure the FP for 19" rack suitability.
Please.

I have the ms20 in my Kronii. But I do know that Crunk is buying one so when his comes in, it won't be long before I get to see it in person. I'm more tempted by the new VA to be honest.

I wonder what owners of the original MS20 are thinking and saying right now?

Also seems to be some confusion about whether this uses S-Trig or not. (Either that, or I'm not reading that Muff's thread correctly.)
I'm slightly concerned about these potential incompatibilities. I'd love to have a modular controller keyboard of some sort, and this seems like a good candidate -- if it will interface with a euro system without needing a converter module.

In the specifications on Korg's website, under the "Patch Panel" section, it says:
VCO:

i "believe" it's as the original so 5 volts per octave...the only quastion i have over that is that the king korg can control the ms20 mini via cv/gate...so maybe head over it's specs and see if that is 5volt or 1 volt?
01-25-2013 12:22 PM
I read that as 1V per octave BUT the range is -5 to +5 and not 0 to +10.

I suspect it would be easier just to use MIDI.

no actually...midi on the ms20 mini is ONLY note on off and pitch
whereas cv/gate can be patched into other areas.

This has got to be the most MS20's I've seen on E-bay to date. ![]()

Intrigued: Why 86% of original size? What an odd number. It's like someone chose "Scale > 86%" by accident in the CAD software they were using to design it, right before it went off for manufacturing. hmm.
