@Donald - Old MS20 or the new? Have they done a rackmount of it? I don;t have a budget for GAS at this time but could imagine a rackmount intergrating well with the rest of a modular setup.
Old MS20 was one of the best looking analog monsynths but underwealmed me with what it could do back when I had one. Could imagine it being an excellent controller though when you've got a lot of more interesting modules to connect it to.
oops, missed your reply. MS20 is the new one! i'm not expecting a great deal out of it other than just being an MS20. i don't expect it to spider web into my modular or anything, i think it's better by itself. maybe i'll get an English Tear from Harvestman so i can sequence the Hz inputs or something. in high school i was really into ladytron and other bands that used the 20, didn't know what it was then but i do now and have wanted one for a while. don't think there's a rackmount, but people are talking about chopping off the keys.
have you guys seen this thread?
i'm pretty excited about this project. well, beyond PRETTY excited - i'm VERY excited. ARP2600 mini!
also this weekend, right before the STG Soundlabs annual HC/KSS synthfest, i built up this nifty dual quantizer. only took about an hour to build, cost was 79 dollars for the kit from synthcube. i like it!
and a new noise, actually recorded some time ago but i'm trickling stuff out from a project i decided to abandon in favor of another project.

I'll throw this in here as it's a shortish track and mainly memotron through the doepfer modular, vocals are vocaloid prima.

My take on the theme to the Phantasm series of movies... lol I like a man who has some balls(!)
Mostly modular plus Vocaloid Prima on vocals as usual, and some Memotron strings in the middle.
