I use little MIDI.
I am using the sequencer in my 777 to trigger the Q+.
I am using the Q+ to control the MicroWave XT rack.
Both worked perfect by jus plugging in a MIDI cable. (thank God... or' I'd a been here)
I want to be able to control both units with the 777.
Is there a possible solution?
Am I even making sence?
Do I need to purchase some special MIDI unit?
'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).
If you want to control both with the 777, but continue to control the XT with the Q+, independently from the 777 you may need to pickup a MIDI-Merger (Anatek has a little one for about $30). Plug the output of the 777 into the Q+. Plug the MIDI-OUT and MIDI-THRU of the Q+ into the merger. Plug the ouput of the merger into the MIDI-IN of the XT. Now the 777 will play both units and the Q+ can drive the XT directly.
