Re: How much does it cost to make a piano?

Now I'm all curious: Danuniversal, what's your motivation behind these questions? Are you thinking about building pianos? Why?
I was thinking what could I do in the future with my future wealth... Of course I do not have that money now, but I was wandering what could I do if I got enough money... Just curiosity.

Re: How much does it cost to make a piano?

It would be much more realistic to

1. Build a quality midi controller with a good keybed.

2. Benefit humanity.

3. $$$ PROFIT $$$

Re: How much does it cost to make a piano?

I would love a nice quality midi controller, but I can't make any promises about what I would use it for.
lots of gear and not a computer in sight.

Re: How much does it cost to make a piano?

A grand piano, depending on the size, quality of the wood and finish, it can go for anywhere between 10 to 50 grand. A new one will automatically cost you as much as a new car, like in the 25,000 dollar range. check this: pianos lessons

Re: How much does it cost to make a piano?

Yes, but the original question was
How much does it cost to make a new car? I am talking about the materials and the effort... What is the real cost of a new car? I bet it is less than the half of their retail price.
Er, no... wut?
