Well guys, take a pencil and let's go, draw a synth, draw your synth, draw the synth hidden in your brain.
For the fun, for you, for the community, for...midable !
Share your ideas.
Here is my first synth, the Mayaya.

The rear panel includes 4 1/4" analog inputs. I'd use two for my upper tier to avoid needing a mixer, and one for my guitar (using DSP amp/cap modeling).
Of course, it weighs about 20 lbs, and it's only 50" long, 4" high, and say 14" deep (maybe less). Plus it comes in an unweighted 61-key version for the top, and either unit's display can control both units.
Don't worry, I'll keep dreaming.

This is my FM synth Hope you like the idea Possibly a bit big pic. but need to see the details
Boo, knobs -- sliders are so much easier to read at a glance!
But I do like the LEDs around the knobs. Is there a version with encoders rather than pots?

Oh I thought Rotary encoders was the kind pots who have steps on them.
On Supernova II keyboard, all knobs look the same, but some had steps and some not.

Down, on the left corner you can see the bender and a big trackpad.
So you can use the trackpad like wheels or to change the sound/parameters...
More interesting, you can use it in the three axis.
You can also use the trackpad and the bender at the same time.
