Thanks Jercat but my local Shack didn't have them. Got a few synths need new batteries, rather buy local the search continues..

are most of them standard size legs to fit on the circuit board?

I made mine. It's not pretty but works great. A dab of silicon is holding it down.

Do you have to replace the holder or just the battery? If it's the holder, you'll have to measure the hole spacing, as well as the overall size of the housing to make sure the replacement fits in the old space. Don't forget polarity.
