The reward for the stolen OASYS that I posted a few weeks ago has been raised to $50,000. It's not the keyboard the musician needs - its the data in the keyboard.
Here's the info:
STOLEN Korg OASYS 88 Serial # (21) 00001602, Soundcraft Compact 10, Roland FC-300
Location: Saticoy St., Canoga Park, CA
The OASYS looked like new. No stickers, no nothing. There was an ADAT option card installed on the back. And the doors to the S/PDIF Optical I/O below the ADAT card are missing. Soundcraft Compact 10 BRAND NEW in the box!, Roland FC-300 BRAND NEW in the Box!

so this is spam with a 50k tagline? more info would not go astray about the reason for the large reward?
Its not my keyboard - I spread the word on stolen instruments for other musicians. The serial number is (21) 00001602. Checking Craigslist - yes, unfortunately that is where many stolen instruments are sold, same with Ebay.

That must be some VERY valuable data.
What was on it that's worth so much?

Owch. What a keyboard to get stolen..
I've also noticed from reading through various 'stolen equipment' threads that a majority of them seem to happen in California.
Never gigging there. Ever.

lots of goths and rivetheads and sketchy people...

interesting... of all the shows i've been to, i've found the goth/industrial crowd to be some of the more humble and honest people by and large, despite their outward appearance.
