Can a Rig Kontrol 1 be used as an external pedal for Rig Kontrol 3?

Hi Team,

I have a Rig Kontrol 3 and i can buy a rig kontrol one really cheaply. I already use an m-audio ex-p as an external pedal and i was wondering if anybody has tried using a rig kontrol 1 as an additional pedal. I will simply be using it to control a wah-wah, or the volume if it can be configured to work with my rig kontrol3. Anybody ever tried to configure this type of setup?
