USB hub - Most durable?

I've filled up all of my USB ports on the Mac live rig. The external drive runs through the firewire and the USB is left to midi controllers (2), a USB audio interface and a mouse.

I'm looking for a USB port that's built for durability and reliability over everything. Higher transfer bandwidth preferred. Suggestions?

I've been looking into Tripp Lite products. Several past threads regarding these didn't seem to yield many responses...

Re: USB hub - Most durable?

To be honest, all the USB hubs i've owned have always worked perfectly. I never really spend very much on them. It might be worth just going for the most solid looking box

I think you overestimate what hubs do. They just like Y-cables connecting several sockets to one, not processing data.
