You don't. If you pipe in with the 'hair metal' thing it just proves you are a child of MTV and you are beneath me. NOT in a sexy way. I hate your face for not giving Lord Coverdale his props. Fuck you.

there's no doubt that the guy has pipes that go on forever......but IRL he's a taint .

Is Doug Aldrich still playing guitar with Whitesnake? They're playing 3-4 hours away, but it's by where my brother lives. I'd like to see Doug Aldrich play guitar in person. I imagine it wouldn't be that crowded so I could probably get pretty close.

"Come Taste The Band" is the best Deep Purple album. I know that is heretical, but there you have it.

Great voice, and def a larger than life rockstar type. The Purple stuff was great, and the Whitesnake 1987 album with Sykes was fantastic.

He's nothing special. In fact, if he couldn't put together all the great rent-a-players he has in past he'd be working at McDonalds.
Sorry, man--that's just fucking stupid.

Come Taste The Band was a very "fresh" sounding Deep Purple album.
Thanks to the addition of Tommy Bolin, and Glen Hughes still maturing as a songwriter... you get an incredibly
inspired DP album.
But I would point out that it's no better than Machine Head or Burn.
But equally compelling and brilliant.

"YOU DON'T KNOW DAVID COVERDALE. IDIOT."
So are you saying I don't know David Coverdale, the idiot. Or that I'm an idiot for not knowing David Coverdale?
Is English your second language?

Naturally, he's a drifter who was born to walk alone.
Are other rock frontmen similarly stand offish?

Oh I think its MUCH better than Burn or Machine Head - just by virtue of not having Blackmore on it, if nothing else ![]()

How does it feel to be so heretical?

His performance on Burn was certainly a revelation and he killed it as a wide-eyed first time in America kid at the Cal Jam. Always been one of my favorite vocalists. Even the 80's stuff. Loves me some Slide It In...

It's true. He started with Purple and has milked every player he's been with. He's the first version of Axl Rose.
