Reading an interview with him in "Guitar Player" after seeing Quiet Riot supporting Judas Priest persuaded me to buy "Artful Arpeggios"...so I can't hate him. That's still one of my favourite method books.

I've played with his brother Tony off and on for years. They are sweet peoples.

They were really good live. This was on Priest's "Defenders of the Faith" tour, Priest were at the top of their game at that point, but Quiet Riot really gave them a run for their money. I had tickets for both the nights they played in London and they totally won the crowd over.
