You haven't seen the worst of it yet, man. The chicken wings are cold, soggy, and not at all spicy. ![]()

Welcome back. We shall speak now of post-punk and gorgeously-arranged-symphonic-art-chick-pop.

Re: The Greek. (I thought I quoted you but apparently not. **Bleep** this forum.)
Yo, I don't know if I'm coming back as such but I thought this whole deal was pretty funny.
Also, I saw that...can't even think of the name right now... Bat In Lashes thread and you totally Popadapolus Pigeonholer-ed me.
Not a fan! iamamiwhoami is my favorite art pop lady du-jour and to a lesser extent Grimes.

I can't remember that thread, but there's a good chance I was messing. Or mistaken. This thing is pretty fun, at least in the way that any mess that opens up the opportunity for troublemaking is fun. And some of the arch borelords haven't found their way back in, so...
That said, if yr back. That'd be cool and it might induce me to stick around. I can dig Bat for Lashes. Not sure why. Grimes is cool too. I'll check out iamamiwhoami. As you may have noted, I've been kinda meh/disconnected from a lot of new stuff lately. At least I feel like I've been casting around a bit. It happens every few years and then I seize on a few things with TOTAL BELIEF until I get bored and feel disconnected and it all starts over.

I see. You were quoting the other guy. The one who is upscale IHM for kids.

That was supposed to be a reply to rusholme. I've been thinking of resuming posting because I've been super duper ultra mega depressed lately and some familiar faces wouldn't hurt even if they're internet weirdos and a-holes. Dunno, though. It might just encourage yet more stasis, which is what I was trying to get away from in the first place.
I'm going to check out the new BIL eventually but it's not something I'm excited about. I gave the last one a good 5-6 listens but I eventually started getting all sorts of Napoleon Dynamite, wrong-kind-of-80s vibes from it and had to stop.
The one thing I would literally bet my life on (and I do mean literally) would be Sweater Girls. They're about the Sad-dest thing I've ever heard. I don't know if I'm crazy about their new album yet but their two EPs are golden. All are on spotify.

Sweater Girls = OMG! Listening to one of the EPs now. Thank you.
Welcome. You're looking a bit aged and grizzled but you are actually in that band.
I guess that dude is an original C86 relic but I don't remember what band he was in.

Wild. I need to quick dicking around and get something off the ground before I get too grizzled myself.

And the new Lashes record is a lot more subdued. I though that the previous one was a little overmuch. This one is lush, but reigned in. It's pretty.
Cautiously optimistic n' **bleep**.
I bet fanuvbrak is happy that I posted a thread and only three people replied to it. That's what I bet! Of course there are only three people on the forum now, so..

I just wanted to mention that forum looks good on an ipad. The weird background image is not there at all. I assume it was designed primarily with mobile use in mind? Anyhow, try it on a tablet and and it feels more natural.
Mr. Burns over here thinks everyone has an iPad. It does look better on my phone. Or it did this morning, I tried it a while ago on my phone and got the regular site. No bueno.
