That's not as bad as I was lead to believe.

Rotten.com has jaded me.

I remember watching the game when that happened. It was bizarre...kinda like "did I really just see that"? Then they showed the replays over...and over...and over...

All this time later, it ain't any easier to watch. But thanks for the memories. :smileywink: :smileyvery-happy:

The first couple of loops through, I was looking at the wrong leg, thinking "that's not so bad". :smileyhappy:

It's still awful, but not having the sound helps somewhat.

His insurance company gave him a lot of shit proving his doctor visits were medically necessary. Typical HMO bullshit.

Re: Joe Theisman Leg Snap Appreciation Thread

Has anybody seen the video of the kickboxer who gets his ankle broken, tries to stand on it, and it just flops over and he keels over onto the mat?

Way worse than the Theisman incident...

Re: Joe Theisman Leg Snap Appreciation Thread

I saw that game too. I was living just outside of D.C. at the time and that was all that the sports section would talk about. Was very gnarly, kept playing replays over and over...very demented. Lawrene Taylor was the one that put on the hit. You could tell he was VERY shaken up by it...but it might have been the cocaine dunno.
