Well I didn't! Never have and never will. I remember when Creem magazine reviewed Rocks they said something along the lines of "Aerosmith Rocks is one of two records (the other being Led Zep II ) that could be used to deflect an approaching asteroid threatening Earth by blasting it through some giant JBL speakers aimed at said asteroid". Of course they said it in a much more succinct and humorous fashion but you know what I mean and it's stuck with me all these years...

Love that tune, and Testament's cover version.

I'm pretty sure that's the tune that James Hetfield said inspired him to learn guitar.

Great album.

That long (but empty) list of your favorites totally confounded my Nexus 7 tablet's Chrome browser... I never could get to the bottom of the page... it just kept scrolling endlessly. It was, in a certain sense, vaguely amusing.

And clocking in at a whopping 35 minutes! Talk about all killer, no filler. That's how almost all of the great classic 70's and 80's albums are. I was listening to the live version of Last Child from the "South of Sanity" double album and man does Brad kill on that, especially the outro solo. So tasty...

Re: I forgot how great this song is...

I remember when I bought it. My mom took me down to the record store and by the time i was home I had read all of the liner notes. Then, it hit my turntable and wasn't removed (except to turn it over) for about six months.

Dolls may be smaller than 12 inches, but as long as they still have clothing that can be completely removed.

In true Aerosmith RockNRoll style it was the first album I ever stole!  Snuck it out of a K-Mart in my torn jacket lining.  Not a month goes by that I don't listen to it in it's entirety...
