Yeah, this is exaclty what i get. I was confused by the OP before.

Sounds like an issue loading the pages maybe? Clear cookies and load it again?

yea....i am not seeing what you guys are.  every other thread has a very dark grey background and the text on those is only slightly lighter.  this has been going on since last night, i've reloaded website a dozen times at least and it just keeps coming back like i described above.  i'm not in a big hurry to delete my cookies because then i would have to re-log into all the sites i go to and that would be a pain. there's got to be some kind of setting that's goofed up.

Everything about it is ugly.  You'd think with all the sponsors they have whoring their wares on this site, they could afford to get something nicer than what any joe blow with an obsessive hobby could come up with.

Every spin-off of this forum looks better than this one.

i didn't have any problems with the look of this place until last night.  i hit refresh and shazaam.....fucked up look.

it seems that it happened when they took off the "reset your password" header and added the "NAMM" header.

some IT guys screwed up how IE makes this place look.  they need to get it fixed, cuz i'm not gonna come here and not be able to read every other thread.

I'm having the same problem as Mongooz in IE, for some reason, the site appears normal in Firefox, but since I can only post with "Quick Reply" in Firefox, successfully navigating the forums requires that I use 2 browsers.

This place is pissing me off...

oh yeah, and my Avatar's still too fucking small :cop:  :gaynewemoticon:

Installing Google Chrome and using that helps.  Having to install another browser just to participate in the forum is bullshit, but what the hell.

well.....i just got this laptop a year ago....it came with IE7....and i'm NOT changing it because HC is fucked up
