They're for domestic consumption. They do the same here. The ratio of bellowing underclass wrecks to normal proles shown on TV must be 50/1.

They had three episodes on yesterday and like a car wreck I couldn't stop watching. I honestly thought at first that the whole family had some kind of mental handicap or maybe some kind of deformity like elephantitis or something since they all talk weird and obviously look weird. I figured that was why they had a show on TLC (The learning channel). Then after googling I come to find out Boo Boo is worth 300,000 dollars and the family get's like 50,000 dollars an episode.

I hope NASA is happy with what plays on the channel they created. The Learning Channel is quite a name for the steaming stream of brown that network produces. Almost as bad as the Science Channel and History Channel.

People watch reality shows because it makes them feel better about themselves.  Whatever kind of issues you have, at least you're not as stupid/vapid/self centered/etc. as Honey Boo Boo/The Kardashians/etc.
