So in other words, Nugent likes to shoot that which does not shoot back?

I wish he would shut the fuck up.

Ted's a douche that isn't worthy of the attention.  Dee is a pretty intelligent guy and should take aim at something interesting/constructive.

Dolls may be smaller than 12 inches, but as long as they still have clothing that can be completely removed.

As much as Ted Nugent is a douche, I don't think I blame anyone for dodging out of the clusterfuck that was Vietnam. Oh, and I think Nugent is a douche, just so you know where I stand on the whole Nugent is a douche issue. He is. A douche.

Re: Dee Snider calls out teh Nuge on his draft dodging

I was a conscientious objector during the Vietnam war, and served 2 years alternate civillian duty. When I first applied for CO status, the draft board rejected it and classified me 1A, eligible for service. I appealled that decision, but was prepared to go to jail if the appeal was denied. Others, though, took other ways out.

Indeed.  I have nothing against Nugent for not wanting to be involved with Vietnam, even for the wholly mercenary reason that he has stated.  Nor do I have anything against him for his rather unorthdox method of avoiding being drafted.

What bothers me is that he avoided it then, but wants to be the big tough-talker now.

Agreed. That kind of reeks of hypocrisy on his part, but I'm old enough to realize how I thought 25 years ago is not how I think now. Of course, I'm not wrapping myself in the flag and pointing out who isn't a 'real American' like old Ted. My dad would probably call him a worthless hippie who gave nothing for the bounty he has received.
