Site Responding Slowly

Site is loading slowly for me today.  I hope we're not having performance issues already....

Yah, I'm getting as much as 15 second loads and the one or twice  day fail. That only bothers me in that I know the traffic here is far down from where it once was and hopefully will be soon if they can "keep up".

I'm getting an average of 12-14 second load times for a new screen (navigation, opening a Reply editor, etc)

Down here at the office, the network is pretty dang good:

  • the town is wired totally in fiberoptics
  • my office network is totally in Cat6 (Mohawk ftw, beetches!)
  • a 3 Ghz laptop

i'm still hoping they are just running masses of debug-instrumented code...plz tell me it's so.
