One area where Lithium may be able to shine over vBulletin is in the ignore features.

Ignoring a member should ignore:

  • Their posts.
  • Other users quoting their posts.
  • Their threads.

They should, essentially, not exist.

Being able to select specific threads to ignore would also be nice. "I never want to see this topic ever again. Goodbye."

Lithium's ignore function doesn't work the way you're used to. As explained to me, it just blocks people from sending you PMs. It doesn't actually block content from anyone.

Other than not going down every day I don't think the new site will shine over the vbulletin one in many ways.  It seems like we will lose a lot of functions. But hey, we have kudos now.
