Okay, I've got that one and 148 other guitars. Let me know if you're interested in seeing any of the others, but that's the one that I landed that gave me the most challenge.

why ask why? you have 148 guitars (give or take). post them up and mesmerize the rest of us with your superior shopping skills and incredible line of credit. just don't bore us with how each one sounds or plays. we know you don't play more than 10 of them anyway
.

That's my point. It's all just so banal. Why not just walk through a GC? They're just guitars. Nothing superior about my shopping skills or anyone else's here. They can all be had if you're OCD enough. Sharky is now my true love. ![]()

My guitars are fugly (functional but ugly) and not worthy of this thread.
After seeing the collections posted here, I'm inspired and may line them all up and take some pics and see how they turn out.

personally i love guitars that look like they have a story - glen hansard's guitars for example - you can't have any uglier than his and yet listen to him play it..wow. well anyway - my point is, any guitar is worthy of sharing, and now i have Rush playing in my head.. "what can this thing be that i've found?"
looking forward to your share..

Okay, I lined them up and took a couple of quick pics...
I'm inspired now to find a better setting and take a better picture.

No, it's an '82 Fender '57 Reissue. '82 was the first year of the '57 RI. It originally had a white pickguard.

I did not know they started building them in the US then.
I have an '82 JV strat that was the first run of the MIJ (FujiGen Gakki) series and it is an outstanding guitar.
