Ugh, had me until the matching headstock, and at $399, it wouldn't be worth it to look into a neck swap. They're a little on the heavy side, but I could overlook that if Squier would just put out a low end 62RI in anything other than the most boring colors available.

$399 is a little steep. But let's be honest they are still better than the MIM standards IMO. If you take away the binding it would be about $50 cheaper.
That is one sweet tele. I don't think it overpriced. I own a CV tele and strat and they are well woth the money. Great guitars right out of the box. Enjoy!
