Wisdom on Warmoth tuner hole size options?

I'm buying a neck, and at this point, I don't lean one way or another as to what the tuner hole size is.

Anything I should be thinking about here?

It depends on what kind of tuners you want to use. I really prefer the vintage Kluson style, so I get the smaller diameter holes on all mine (4 so far.)

Yep, you need to know what tuners you intend to use.

I'm guessing it will be GFS Gotoh style locking tuners, guess that takes care of that. :smileyhappy:

You can always drill 'em larger if they are too small, or put bushings in, if they are too big.

I feel like I'm getting cheated out of valuable maple when they drill the holes...

If you drill them be very carefull the bit does not grab. A saver way is to get a peghole reamer thesize you want and do them by hand.

If you order the neck finished, expect to do at least a little work with peghole reamers no matter what size you order.
