I get the space between the closet door and the bed! That is all I get living in a 1400square foot condo with two kids in San Diego.

Don't have a pic, but the master bedroom of our house is a home studio. I usually practice sitting at the computer desk with a music stand nearby.

What is this practice of which you speak ?
This is what came to mind for me...
Once upon a time I did a minor in music during college which enabled me to get private lessons. My guitar professor used to yell at me incessantly; "You spend too much time playing and no time practicing!"
Maybe that's why I hit a plateau like 20 years ago.

Yesterday it was sitting on the couch watching the Australian open, tv volume on mute, amp cranked.

rarely - dining room (when I want a big table)
neighbors house(s) (I'm now in a neighborhood band)
Upon advice from my wife, due to concerns of collateral hair spray damage, I removed my guitar and mini-amp from the master bathroom.
I get in trouble if I practice at work (even if it is the lunch hour)
That's about it.
