i changed the strings on my Tyler, and then spent a couple hours playing on it.

then i switched gears and spent some time with this one.

those are actually slalom cones....skateboard slalom (haven't used them in....years).

thanks for the kind words, but please don't sell yours short- i love the looks of that acoustic.  i'll bet it sounds killer.  i think vcvinyls has one just like it, and i drool a little everytime i see pics.

Mark mcFeely (telecaster911 on HC and my forum) just started building guitars. Mine was the first and since I figured this might be the only time a friend with a CNC machine would ask me what I wanted in a custom guitar I went a little nuts. Turned out really nice. I played it instead of my suhr at the gig last night. Suhr pickups, Gotoh hardware and made the rest from scratch.

My latest strat build. I always wanted a one pickup strat like the one Eddie was holding on the cover of Van Halen's first album. I have a three hour band practice today, and I'm going to give it a first road test. The pickup is a chrome DiMarzio Super Distortion, and a 500K CTS pot. The bridge is a Wilkenson.
