LIL' WAYNE MAYBE KILLED HIMSELF BY DRINKING TOO MUCH SIZZURP
Apparently Lil’ Wayne likes to drink mega high strength prescription cough syrup, even when he’s not sick, for fun or whatever. I’m told the kids these days are drinking Promethazine with Codeine, which they call Sizzurp, which can totally kill you.
TMZ is reporting that Lil’ Wayne is on his deathbed after drinking Sizzurp, going into seizures, going to the hospital, getting his stomach pumped three times, and then drinking more.
Sorry for the cynicism and all, but really? Hope he gets better, but what an idiot."

He is dead?
no, not currently dead. according to TMZ updates, he's stable but critical.

I hope he lives, if only so I don't have to listen to how much he influenced the world with his revolutionary music and how he died before his time.
Agreed. I don’t want to read about “the black Kurt” every time I open a music magazine for ten years.

Whatever happened to weed?
Still very popular. It’s done in addition to whatever else.

i dont get why he would be getting high off codeine and antihistamine. codeine when indicated for cough is a very small dose. He could just take 1 morphine sulfate pill and get 100xs the effect thats in the entire sizzurp bottle. drinking cough syrup is gross, popping a pill is easy.
opium contains morphine, codeine and papaverine (a smooth muscle relaxant). In Japan they sell OTC cough medicine with Opium in it, when I was stationed there we were not even allowed in the pharmacies they had so much stuff considered illegal here.
this is something kids do who are idiots-not rock stars who have a dr feelgood on call and can prescribe anything.

There are many things one might drink that should taste a whole hell of a lot better than cough syrup-thats just damn stupid.
