Not my thing.  I thought the Zoot Suit SGs looked better.  Maybe it's because the body is more symmetrical.

What I don't get is why we all bash plywood guitars until they have a big name brand on the headstock and come in funky colors.

Yep, gets a fail compared to the SG Zoot, which I liked.

Wouldn't be so bad if the lines were straighter.  Not a fan of the color scheme, either.  I liked the SG version much better.

Just wait 'till Taylor Swift plays one of those at the Grammy's. Gibson will sell a million of them.

Re: The latest from Gibson. Sherbert vomit.

It looks a lot better than in the last picture someone posted. But it’s still pretty gross. That said, I could see this working well on stage for a jam band or reggae player.

Re: The latest from Gibson. Sherbert vomit.

It's not the worst thing I've seen. It would be quite cool if you play a lot of 60's rock. It's better than some psychedelic paint jobs I've seen.
It's not about money or popularity , although some money would be nice.

A friend of mine just got one. He plays in the Austin based band The Hickoids. It so fits him it is like it should be his Sig. guitar. The Davy Jones Signature LP.
