I'm wondering about the guitar on the left. It is a smaller scale semi-hollow. I've never seen anything quite like it. It kept remarking on how it is exactly what I would make if I could make a guitar. Anyone have any idea?

It looks like one of those made-in-Japan hollowbodies from the 60's or 70's. I think by the headstock that it is a Kay.

Czech out this old Kay... I think the headstock is similar.

Late '60s Japanese guitar. Bolt neck, probably completely hollow, and most likely sold under several names.
