I just got this Danelectro DC recently, taking it to band practice today for the first time.

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but the new Dano's I saw at NAMM [2013] were made in Korea, have truss-rod access and cover at the headstock and are using the original, lumpy, binding tape. All nice touches to some pretty sweet designs.
I recently picked up a used Dano '63 pretty cheap. Actually it's pretty much new. I'll post pic's once I get it back from my luthier.
[rant] The Dano '63 is designed after the amp-in-case model which was originally called the Hornet. The solid-body model Evets calls the Dead on '67 was originally a Coral model called the Wasp. Would be nice if they kept to the original naming. [/rant]
