P.S. Yes I know the pup is slightly crooked. I can fix that.

HNGD! I've been debating getting a resonator myself (either a tricone, or a single cone spiderplate). They sound so cool!

I love Tricones myself. I was seriously considering the Regal Texas Tea Tricone, however some of the reviews made me think twice. I'd have to play one.

The Lace Sensor Resonator pick-up is the best reso pup I've tried. They really pick up the sound of the resonator well. And hey! Dylan uses one!

Is the Lace hum-canceling? I'm shopping for a pickup for my resonator mandolin.

Nice guitar! IMO, pyrex glass slides can't hold a candle to a bottleneck. Try a Mr. Bs or better still, a Diamond slide, and I think you'll hear the difference! http://www.mrbsguitarslides.com/ http://www.diamondbottlenecks.com/DB08/index.asp
mostly I use a Dunlop 215 glass slide.

Yes it is. As much as any Lace Sensor. It still picks up some hum if I get it to close to the computer monitor.
