Wow...I'm seriously disappointed...I was thinking "Tone King Amps", not "The Tone King" and hoping to see Eddie wailing away on some vintage-voiced boutique amp. For some reason, the "Tone King" really bugs the fuck out of me. He has a great collection, he's a decent player and his reviews/comparisons are actually alright. I just cannot stand him...
I was just disappointed. I've never even heard of this Tone King guy.

Calling himself the Tone King may be a reason people find him annoying.
Yeah, that's pretty annoying...also, he's a sloppy player(not that I'm much better, but I'm also not filling the interwebz with videos of my sloppy playing); I can't stand his nasally-Joe Pesciesque voice; AND I kinda get the feeling that he lives in the basement of his mom's house which is probably how he can afford such a bitchin gear collection...

That's the one thing I don't like about him is always throwing up the horns. Dude isn't not 1988 anymore. Speaking that he has kids and he's shown his house, he doesn't live with his mom.

While I'm no fan of EVH's music, it was good to see him up and about, looking sane and healthy.

I like Tone King. He’s just a regular guy running a realistic, no-frills reviews site. Marty McFly’s gear reviews make everything sound great. Tone King isn’t a great player, so I have some idea what I might sound like!

there isnt even a hint of anything musical about his playing. Its like he spent a couple years learning to play guitar, but completely skipped the making musical sense with it part.
