I never really had many problems but others had worst problems getting a price match and the 123% discount.
No wonder many have a very bad taste in their mouths after you guys refuse their Legit online prices
from many other online dealers................JT
Two good points here...often times(usually on ridiculously good deals) M123 will match the price without the additional 23% off.
I've also had a number of price matches refused because Amazon, Sam Ash, Zzounds, etc are not authorized Fender/Gibson/Vox/younameit retailers. When this happens, it's just insulting...

You guys should just have a policy and stick to it. In this day and age, with sites like this one, you end up alienating a HUGE group of people by inconsistency. One potential customer will get a price match, think he's scored a great deal, and then come on here and discover that he could've gotten an additional $100 off if he only tried a little harder.
It shouldn't be about how hard a customer tries, how many price match requests he submits or whether he phones in or emails a request, we should all be able to score the same deal without having to jump through hoops or having to play games. I usually take M123's price match straight to Zzounds who not only match it but beat it and seem genuinely grateful that I'm giving them my business.
If you'll email me at webtalk@music123.com with specific examples, including the ticket number if possible, I will take a look and review these cases. All our phone representatives should be following the same policies as I listed previously and if ther are some cases where that is not the case we'll be sure to handle that internally. I sincerely apologize again for the trouble, let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

I appreciate your input again here, but the question remains. Why are so many of these web quotes going unanswered? Even if a claim cannot be honored/matched, a quick email saying so would be nice. Over the past few weeks, I have turned in about 4 of them. None...I repeat NONE of them have been replied to. The only ones that did were when you had me email them directly to you. I appreciate that, but without communication from M123, it just feels like you guys are ignoring us. I should not have to call, email a manager, etc.
Did you ever receive an automated confirmation to your email address with a ticket number? If so, can you send me those ticket numbers? We are very careful to be sure all submitted inquiries to our contact center are answered in a timely manner. If you did not get an automated response confirming receipt of your request, I am concerned that there is something preventing your inquiries from being received on our end. If you'll email me at webtalk@music123.com links to the items you've attempted to get price matching for while logged into your account, this will greatly help us troubleshoot if there is a problem or not.

If you can email me the ticket numbers for these instances to webtalk@music123.com, I'll be sure to review them so we can handle this internally. Sam Ash and Zzounds are major competitors that all our staff should know are authorized resellers, but Amazon often has users that are not authorized dealers who are reselling through the Amazon Marketplace. Generally if it is shipping from the Amazon warehouse and is being sold by Amazon, it usually is an authorized resell by these respective manufacturers.
