Fretsy has been posting frequently, Bryan from his Facebook page is working hi sbutt of winding, and CSM I'm pretty sure is still around......dunno bout the others.

The main problem is the thread subs method IMO, if you post and sub you either get a notification mail to every reply or else none at all, or you can choose digest which is stupid.

Maybe in time some may drift back, but the subs will be the major drawback

here's the thing:

there are some really good people here right now, IMO.  some people who used to post here may come back over time.  some people who used to post here will never come back.  new forumites will establish themselves as memorable "personalities" and they'll be enjoyed just like others have been in the past.

Personally, I've just too much to do to hang around here much any more.  I enjoy what little activity there is, but I'm busy juggling a full time job, 5 daughters, a demanding side-schedule of *gasp* playing music (I know, right?), and firing up a startup effects business.
